safetee partners with Ryder Cup by signing official Licensee Agreement

The safetee X-Light Protector, which is tailored for both men and women, is a stylish and lightweight insert for golf headwear that is practically invisible, highly protective and super comfortable. It reduces the energy impact of a ball strike by up to 87% just by fitting easily into any golf cap without changing the shape of the hat. As an officially licensed partner for the Ryder Cup, safetee will be supplying protectors to volunteers and officials at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club during the event, which takes place from 29 September – 01 October 2023.
Philipp Schneider, the creator and CEO of safetee, commented, “I developed the safetee protector after my wife was almost struck on the head by a golf ball at a tournament three years ago. I decided to see if a cap protector would make a difference as a precaution if someone was hit by a ball. After three years of developing and testing, we produced the safetee protector, which offers maximum head protection without sacrificing the look or usual comfort of wearing your favourite golf cap on the course.”
The special tee structure of the safetee protector is characterised by its recesses, meaning that the protector remains flexible and adapts perfectly to any head shape. It is super lightweight (only 100g), ultra-thin (only 4mm), and is skin-friendly and breathable.
