Conditions of participation and privacy policy for the “Ryder Cup 2023 Sweepstakes”
The competition is organized by safetee technologies GmbH, Otto-Hahn-Str. 4b, 97230 Estenfeld (“safetee”).
safetee, Otto-Hahn-Str. 4b, 97230 Estenfeld, Germany, is responsible for the implementation and handling of the competition.
By participating in this sweepstake, you accept the following conditions of participation and agree to the use of your personal data to the extent described in section 6. If you do not accept these conditions of participation and data protection provisions, you may not participate in the sweepstakes in any way.
- Process
The sweepstake will run from Sep. 11th, 2023 to Sept. 15, 2023 (11:59 P.M. CEST) on safetee’s Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/safeteegolf/).
You can enter the sweepstake by tagging another person under the post and following the Instagram page @safeteegolf during the sweepstake period.
Each person may only enter the sweepstake once.
To enter the sweepstake, you must be logged in to your Instagram account.
From all participants who effectively participate according to these terms and conditions, safetee will randomly select one grand prize winner and five secondary winners after the end of the sweepstakes period.
Please note:
The comment you post must be your sole intellectual property, free from third party rights, and must not contain illegal or inappropriate content. In particular, you may not post content that
- have insulting, racist, discriminatory or pornographic content,
- contain advertising on their own behalf or advertising for other brands,
- violate copyright, personality, trademark or competition law.
You are responsible for the content of the comment you share. You are liable for any claims based on infringement of third party rights by the story you share.
- Prize
Within three working days after the end of the sweepstake period, an internal jury at safetee will select one grand prize winner and five secondary winners from all participants who have validly entered the sweepstakes in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The winners will receive the following prize:
Grand prize: 2x tickets for the Ryder Cup (30.09.23-01.10.23) and 2x Ryder Cup Caps from Team Europe including safetee X-Light Protector. (travel costs and accommodation are not included in the price)
Secondary prize: 5x one Ryder Cup Cap from Team Europe including safetee X-Light Protector.
The claim to the prize is neither transferable, nor is a cash payment or exchange of the prize possible. Resale of the prize is not permitted.
- Publication of the Instagram name of the winner
The Instagram name of each winner may be published by safetee on safetee’s Instagram page as a post for an unlimited period of time following the sweepstake period as part of the moderation. Third parties can share, like and comment on the posting.
- Announcement of the winners, response and dispatch of the winnings
The winners will be notified within three working days after the end of the sweepstake by means of a reply via direct message on Instagram and will be asked to get back to us within a further 24 hours, stating their first and last name, date of birth, email address and address.
The claiming of the prize requires the truthful and complete provision of the personal data you provide.
If there is any doubt as to whether the person who has reported back is actually the winner in question, safetee reserves the right to request proof of identity (e.g. submission of a copy of an ID card or similar) or to verify the identity by calling the telephone number provided.
If there is any doubt as to the age of a winner, safetee reserves the right to request proof of age.
If the winner does not report back by the deadline, is not eligible to participate, or if his or her identity or age of majority cannot be clarified beyond doubt, his or her claim to the prize will be forfeited, and safetee may select a new winner from the remaining participants. The winner is responsible for the correctness of the address data provided.
safetee will send the prizes to the addresses provided by the winners. Upon transfer of the prizes to the shipping service provider, safetee will be released from its obligations in this regard arising from this competition. This does not affect the provisions on the exclusion of liability in accordance with clause 7.
safetee is not liable for any late transmission of the prize to the winner.
- Participation
Each person may only participate once in the sweepstake. In case of multiple comments or participations, only the first comment will be considered.
All persons with unlimited legal capacity who have reached the age of 18 at the time of participation are eligible to participate.
No prizes will be awarded to minors who nevertheless participate.
Employees of safetee, as well as all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the sweepstake, are excluded from participation. Their life partners and relatives in a domestic relationship are also excluded.
Participation in the sweepstake is only possible for registered Instagram users.
Participation is only permitted in one’s own name. Sweepstakes clubs are excluded from participation.
The time at which the Instagram comment was posted, as logged by Instagram, is decisive for timely participation. safetee is not liable for late or incomplete commenting and, in particular, cannot be held responsible for technical malfunctions, e.g. for failures of the telephone network, network, electronics or computers.
Participation in the competition is free of charge except for the transmission costs incurred according to the tariff chosen by the participant from his/her mobile phone or Internet provider. It is not conditional on the purchase of goods or services or the subscription to a newsletter.
- Privacy
The responsible party is safetee. The provision of your data is voluntary. We process your data for the implementation of the sweepstake and for marketing purposes to the extent permitted by law. Personal data may be forwarded to supporting agencies within the scope of the sweepstake and exclusively for the purpose of implementing it and communicating the winners. If you have given us permission to contact you by e-mail or telephone, we will also use the data for these purposes. The data will be processed by our IT service provider and in safetee’s customer database but will not otherwise be passed on to third parties.

- Disclaimer
Within the scope of the sweepstake and the redemption of the prize, the winner shall be liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health that are based on an intentional or negligent breach of duty on the part of the winner, his legal representatives or his vicarious agents.
Furthermore, the winner shall be liable for other damages based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the winner, its legal representatives or its vicarious agents, as well as in the event of an intentional or negligent breach of material contractual obligations. In cases of simple negligence, however, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
Moreover, any contractual and non-contractual liability on the part of safetee is excluded.
- Miscellaneous
This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding German conflict of law provisions.
safetee reserves the right to cancel the sweepstake for important reasons. In particular, the sweepstake may be cancelled for good cause if the proper execution of the sweepstake can no longer be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. In the event of a cancellation, there will be no claims whatsoever against safetee and the agency.
The legal process is excluded.
- Waiver
The “Ryder Cup 2023 Sweepstakes” is not affiliated with Instagram and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organized by Instagram. Instagram is not responsible for any of the content published as part of this promotion.
The recipient of information provided by participants is not Instagram, but safetee. Each entrant fully indemnifies Instagram against all third party claims in connection with this sweepstakes.
